No, she wasn't. Her father William Smith, our third great grandfather was born in Georgia and his father, William Smith Sr, our forth Great grandfather was born in England.

Do you have a birthdate for WILLIAM SMITH - mine was born in abt 1755 in GA, then moved to SC/NC/KEntucky by abt. 1806. I am having slow going on this line.

My William Smith's wife was an Alexander. Daughter of Jesse Alexander 1720-1803.Williams's children were Sarah Smith b?d?, Archer(Archibald) Smith b. 1796 SC, Jesse A. Smith b. 1799 NC in 1883 living in Owen county KY, Travis Archie Smith b. 1804 NC in Owen KY in 1850 and Worthville, Carroll county KY 1860 census, and William A. Smith b. 1806 Scott county, Kentucky and found in the 1850 Owen county KY census.
That is the immediate family of my William Smith. Any hints or matches?
My other SMITH line is from Travis Smith's wife Margaret Johnson b. 1811 Scott county KY whose Mother was Sarah Smith b.1786 KY, daughter of Berryman Smith b. abt. 1751 and d. 1839 Indiana.
