Charles Albert Koehler

b. April 15, 1921  d. Jan. 11, 2012.
He was born to Charles and Kattie Davis Koehler and married
Ruby E. O'Quinn  b. May 17, 1926  the daughter of
Blanch Smith O'Quinn b. Sept. 17, 1907  d. Feb. 9, 1997 and
John Singleton O'Quinn  b. July 7, 1876  d. Dec. 31, 1956

Charles and Ruby had one child, Kittie, named after Charles mother.
Charles served in World War II as a 1st Lieutenant in the European Theater.
The European Theater of World War II, also known as the European War, was a huge area of heavy fighting across Europe from Germany's invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939 until the end of the war with the German unconditional surrender on May 8, 1945 (V-E Day)
Charles attended Law School at Tulane and worked at Shell Oil Co. in New Orleans, La and Houston, Texas. Since childhood he dreamed of owning a real Circus and in 1963 while he was already an established practicing attorney, he purchased the Dixiana Circus. 
Charles Albert Kochler is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina. Charles was married to Betty's 1cousin 1X removed, Ruby.
