James Michael "Mike" Newell


b. Sept. 11, 1950  d. Oct. 11, 1976  to
James Eldred Newell  b. April 1, 1919  d. Dec. 14, 1995  and
Mattie Catherine Brand  b. July 3, 1931  d. Sept. 7, 2000

Mike was run over by a Motor Grader on Interstate 10 near Moss Point, while working on a Highway project. He was only 26.



 is buried  at Canton City Cemetery in Canton, MS., beside his parents.
Mike was Betty's 2nd Cousin.

    Did you put the flowers on his grave?

    Last week I took a day trip a couple hours away and found my great, great, great grandparents grave. I was going to bring flowers but I couldn't find a place to buy any. I did get some nice pictures though! :-)
